Competence as a starting point and trainer as learning facilitator


Last week we reached the end of our spring cycle Train the Trainer program. Participants enriched it with great energy, a number of questions, comments, descriptions of their past training experiences (both pleasant and those difficult, challenging ones), and through guiding their mini-trainings, as well as emphasizing needs and wishes, and setting goals for their own, even more successful future work.
As it usually happens when a group of people who really love what they do come together, highly motivated to discusses and grow in common insights, numerous topics emerged. They reminded us, trainers and coaches once again on how important it is to keep on continuously refreshing the idea of key factors in the process of working with people, and from the perspective of a person who has a role and responsibility to prepare and implement an appropriate program for development of employees. And in that spirit this article was born, so we could once again remind ourselves of something that “we already know”, but often do not apply in the best manner during everyday work.
